A young Terrace girl is spending the holidays away from home as she undergoes chemotherapy.
Not long after 5-year old Marleigh started Kindergarten, her school year was interrupted by a life-changing diagnosis.
Young Marleigh was diagnoed with B-ALL Leukemia, and has had to relocate to Vancouver to undergo treatment at the BC Children's hospital.
She's about three months in to what is expected to be 6 months to a year of treatment.
Her mother Elizabeth says Marleigh remains in good spirits, despite her discomfort.
