In their latest weekly report, the Kitimat RCMP talked about a recent multi day community event that they attended amongst their usual reporting of crimes that they had encountered in the past week.
The Police Detachment was invited to go to Haisla Days in Kitamaat Village back on May 17th and May 18th and throughout those two days, the Officers took part in a few different events.
One of which was called “Paint the Police Vehicle” where a Police Truck was used as a canvas for the attending artists of all ages.
And while the art that was put onto the vehicle was complimented by the Kitimat RCMP, the truck had to be washed off once the event was over so that it could be properly returned to service.
