PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. -- A woman from the Hazelton area who was reported missing earlier this week has been found safe, according to RCMP North District Media Relations Officer Madonna Saunderson.

38-year-old Stacey Louise Harris had not been seen in more than six weeks when her family reported her absence to the RCMP on July 12th.

An RCMP press release said Harris lived what they described as a “high-risk lifestyle,” and family and police were concerned for her well being.

Saunderson told CFTK-TV news today that Harris has been found “safe and sound,” but she could not provide any more information about the case.
