The BC Wildfire Service has announced that they are re instituting a previously lifted fire ban in Northwestern BC.
The Category 2 Fire Ban is being put back into place in the entirety of the Northwest Fire Centre after it was discontinued briefly at the start of the month.
This ban is likely to stay in place until September 25th or when the public is notified otherwise.
Category 3 fires also remain banned in the Northwest Fire Centre as well.
