The BC Wildfire Service and Ministry of Forests recently released an update on a fire prohibition in the Northwest Fire Centre.
As of noon today, Category 2 fires are once again allowed in the Northwest Fire Centre, although Category 3 fires are still not allowed in the area.
For reference, Category 2 fires are typically defined as any fire that burns no more than 2 metres high and 3 metres wide.
