The City of Prince Rupert will be holding various free events during the month of June as part of their participation in the 2026 ParticipACTION Community Challenge.
This challenge is a nation wide event where the community that wins gets deemed as Canada’s most active community and will be gifted $100,000 to use on local facilities and programming.
Multiple local organizations and establishments such as the Prince Rupert Port Authority, the Prince Rupert Public Library and Skeena Kayaking will be lending their services to help the City out with this endeavour.
More details on the challenge, like the event calendar, can be found on the City’s website.
