The City of Terrace made a pair of announcements not long after one another, with one focused on campfire activities and the other about a public toilet.
The first one saw the City say that Category 3 fires in the the Coast Mountain and Skeena Stikine Forest Districts were banned as of today at Noon, although Category 1 small campfires are still allowed.
The other one was the City mentioning that the public toilet located on the corner of Kalum Street and Lakelse Avenue was being closed and relocated until further notice, likely because of the ongoing major Lakelse Avenue construction project.
