The City of Terrace has recently made FireSmart Home Assessments available via their own FireSmart program.
The FireSmart Program is dedicated to preventing wildfires, educating people on how to be prepared for them and how to mitigate them in local communities.
And these home assessments are conducted by a Wildfire Mitigation Specialist, or in this case, the Terrace FireSmart Coordinator and they are free for everyone.
Applications for an assessment can be done online and they only take about a minute to complete.
