Thanks to funding from the Northern Development Initiative Trust, the District of Kitimat and the City of Terrace have come together to create a specified study.
The communities are running a Labour Market Study in order to get a better idea of what the region’s workforce and economy looks like at the moment and they want input from local business owners on this subject.
There’s a short survey that can be completed anonymously that asks those business owners questions like where workers and what skills are hardest to find and what makes it difficult to both hire and keep people.
The survey will be open until August 10th.
