The Kitimat RCMP recently provided some information on what cases they dealt with throughout most of the first half of May in a new article.
One of those cases saw an officer pull over a motorcycle that was going 26 km/h over the speed limit.
But at the same time, the motorcyclist was found to not have up to date insurance either, with it expiring about 7 months ago and as a result, the rider got hit with a nearly $600 fine.
This incident serves as a reminder to all drivers to keep their insurance up to date.
