Terrace, B.C. — Northern Health has confirmed that the new parking lot at Ksyen Regional Hospital officially opened today, Monday, September 22.
The lot provides 313 free parking spaces for patients, visitors, and staff. A temporary gravel lot, which has been in use during construction, will continue to serve as overflow parking for the hospital.
In a statement, Northern Health said it currently has no plans to introduce paid parking at Ksyen Regional Hospital.
The new lot is expected to ease long-standing concerns about limited parking around the facility, especially during peak hours of hospital visits and appointments.
