Prince Rupert, Port Edward and PRPA come together for agreement

(City of Prince Rupert)

It was recently announced that the City of Prince Rupert, District of Port Edward and Prince Rupert Port Authority have finalized a major agreement.

The three parties have come together on a 10 year agreement that creates a stable and collaborative framework for Payments in Lieu of Taxes on undeveloped port lands.

The agreement is meant to give each party long term certainty and further strengthen the partnership between the PRPA and it’s municipal neighbours while also helping them focus on growing the local trade gateway.
