With springtime essentially being here now, the City of Prince Rupert is once again starting up their yearly Downtown Business Facade Improvement program.
Thanks to funding from the Northern Development Initiative Trust, this program will allow local property and business owners to apply for grants that will help them restore the exteriors of their buildings.
The grants can offer up to $5,000 and give out a 50 percent reimbursement on these exterior improvements.
Projects must cost between $4,000 and $200,000 and applications will be accepted until May 31st.
