The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine recently partnered up with the City of Terrace, Do Your Part Recycling and GFL Environmental in order to put on an event this coming Saturday.
Starting at 10 AM and lasting until 3 PM while being located at 3467 Highway 16 East, those three parties will be running what’s being called a Household Hazardous Waste Round-up for the Terrace area.
This event will allow for residents to drop off any hazardous materials, like batteries, pesticides, paint thinner and more so they stay out of a landfill until they can be safely disposed of without anyone being charged.
