In honour of June being Pride Month, the Town of Smithers will be home to a major festival in the early part of the month.
The Smithers Pride Society are putting on the 9th annual Smithers Pride Main Street Festival at Bovill Square on June 6th from 12 PM to 2 PM.
The parade is free to access and will feature music, various food vendors, drag performers, information booths and even a library story time from 11 AM to 11:30 AM.
Some other Pride events will also take place in the Town later that month.
