It can get pretty hot during the summer here in Northern BC and because of that, some locals in Smithers have thought of a potential way to help people stay cool.
The Smithers Splash Pad Initiative has created a survey in order to get the opinions of residents on the idea of a proposed splash pad being built in the Community.
The Town of Smithers has approved the idea in in principle under their Community Partnership Policy, but the splash pad still needs a location, design and an entire plan on how it will come to fruition.
The survey can be found online and closes September 30th.
