(CFTK TV)

Baljinder Basra, a founder of Every-day Computers Inc is starting his cellular service starting in Kitimat. Every-Day Computers Inc operates out of Terrace, BC.

The service will be call EV-Mobile.

The service is expected to start in 2 weeks. And on Facebook, Basra communicated that the “first 50 people to reserve lock that price in for life, no matter what we charge later” and “$100 holds your spot, refundable until we go live”.

Users can reserve their spot at this website.

I made a price comparison chart between major providers and found that EV-Mobile undercuts the major telecom companies on the price.

CompanyCost for 100 GB Plan
EV-Mobile$30
Rogers$45
Freedom$45
Telus$75
Bell$84

In an interview Basra said, “Our main goal is just to provide excellent customer service" and never increase the price.

Something to keep in mind is that users of different telecom companies may be on promotional deals that may reduce their monthly internet bill.
