At around 1 AM this morning, an Amber Alert was issued for Terrace, saying that two young children had been kidnapped by an individual.
And thanks to tips, the kids were found within an hour and a half of the alert being issued as the suspect vehicle the kids were in was found in the Burns Lake area.
Two people have been taken into custody due to this incident and while the investigation is still ongoing, the Terrace RCMP have since thanked the public, media and their policing partners for helping ensure the safety of the kids.
