For the first time in a while, the Terrace RCMP have released a report covering a week’s worth of events, with it monitoring the period of time between August 10th and 16th.
One unusual part of the report mentioned how the Police heard from a man who said that he had seen a drone hovering about 5 metres away while he was on his deck.
The drone quickly departed and the man was not able to get any photos or registration of it.
Regulations say that drones can’t get that close to people without a permit and Police advise anyone in a similar situation to stay calm, observe and document the drone and report any unsafe operations.
