The Terrace Riverboat Days Festival will kick off it’s festivities this evening with it’s opening ceremonies and the festival is set to last until August 9th.
As per usual, one of the most anticipated parts of the festival is the parade, which is set for tomorrow morning, albeit with some slight differences this year.
Because of the construction on Lazelle Avenue, the parade will start at City Hall, then move West on Lakelse Avenue, turn right onto Emerson Street, continue along Lazelle Avenue, take a left onto Kalum Street back toward Lakelse Avenue and stop at the Terrace Curling Rink.
Some other festival events include Helicopter Tours, the Happy Gang Pancake Breakfast, the Skeena Salmon Art Show and the Drone Show.
