The City of Terrace has put out a notice to let local residents know that the Terrace Fire Department has seen an increasing numbers of suspicious and deliberately set fires within the community over the past few months.
And while it was pointed out that each of these cases is different from one another, they made sure to highlight that it’s important to make sure any blazes are reported as early as possible and to watch out for them in general.
The early reports were especially pointed out as very valuable tools to minimizing fire damage and getting them put out quickly.
The Terrace Fire Department is still working with the RCMP to investigate any suspicious fires and they also thanked residents for staying vigilant for any blazes that might pop up.
