The Town of Smithers recently sent out a reminder to anyone that wants to apply for their annual Spruce Up program that their window to do so is closing.
This program was created with the intention of helping Downtown Commercial area businesses renovate, restore or upgrade their retail storefront or commercial building façade.
Eligible applicants can get a grant that will cover at most, 50 percent of their project’s cost, although a project can’t cost more than $5,000.
The deadline to apply for this program is June 1st and applications for the program can be found on the Town of Smithers website.
