The highway between Prince Rupert and Terrace has re-opened.
However, a travel advisory is in place recommending drivers avoid the highway due to winter storm conditions including snow and freezing rain.
Travellers are urged to use caution and consider alternate plans.
The Ministry of Transportation closed Highway 16 between Prince Rupert and Terrace earlier today due to black ice and freezing rain.
